About Us
Covid Pandemic 2020 and beyond
In March 2020 New York City was the epicenter due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
During this pandemic New Beginnings Church of Williamsburg made its presence known by serving the most vulnerable and homeless population. Under the service leadership of pastor Jaime Zelaya, New Beginnings Church delivered food, toiletries, and medical products to church members and homeless neighbors. Pastor Jaime Zelaya, Aurora Soto, and Juan Delgado delivered foods to souls who are disabled on a weekly basis. Our church building was also used to hold eulogies for families who lost their loved ones.
Since March 2020 till the present the church is able to connect with local food markets and ask for donations to then distribute them to those who were compromised and could not go to shop for themselves. The church continues to mobilize to deliver food to homeless neighbors and migrants by purchasing hot meals and most importantly; share the gospel.
We praise God for allowing our ministry to be used during this challenging time in New York's history.
